FAQ: Truth

How do I know if it Fake News or Good News?

By default all men are liars.

This is the reason there is so much Fake News and why so many believe false reports.

Truth is not arrived at, it is given.

Truth is not a concept, but a person.

Truth is not a principal, but a living Spirit that must accepted.

  • (John 14:16-17) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever– the . The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and .

If you hate your opinions, ideas and concepts this gives room for the Spirit of Truth to live inside you.

Scientist cannot find this Spirit of Truth because he does not reveal himself to those who will not repent of their sins.

I do not want to follow a man.

If you do not want to follow a man, why are you following yourself?

There is no way around it, God has arranged things so that Truth comes through others. Unless you humble yourself to be taught by a man you will always follow a man.

In the passage of Scripture below one sees God teaching and enlightening all involved but through man. If you surrender to God, hating and giving up all for Jesus, then you will come to discover that while hearing the Truth from a man it is God en-powering the Truth that lives in you.

  • (Acts 8:29-31) The told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone ?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

Many fail to surrender all to Jesus and thus wind up only following a godly man’s teaching. Such is not the fault of the godly teacher but of the listener.

FAQ: Discipleship

Can I keep my career?

No, you cannot keep your career and follow Jesus.

You are not paying attention.

It is called unconditional surrender.

Jesus said you cannot keep anything. Any and everything must be surrendered to His perfect will for your new life in God. God may will that you stay at your job, or He may not. Either way, in heart and possibly in action, you cannot keep anything.

  • In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:33)

This doesn’t sound like cartoon Christianity.

This is carried cross Christianity, not cartoon Christianity where Jesus platitudes are made entertaining.

All who claim the Name must go through many hardships before being accepted into heaven.

  • They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said. (Acts 14:21-22)

I don’t see any joy in this suffering.

You may not see any joy in what Jesus said because you do not really desire to love God.

If that is the case please move on.

Or, it is possible that you are afraid and no one likes discipline at first. For those who stick it out with God they come to really appreciate the sufferings and joys sent from God by the Holy Spirit.

  • Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. (Hebrews 12:9-10)

Where is the peace & righteousness?

Though God gives a measure of peace to urge us on the harvest of overcoming peace is given to those who learn from the painful discipline.

There is a harvest of righteousness but like any farmer waiting for the crop to mature it takes time, hard work, self-discipline and painful sacrifice to behold a field ready for reaping.

  • No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:11)

Learning Obedience

Learning to obey God comes only by sharing in the sufferings of Jesus.

We are to be like Jesus in this world and as a disciple of Jesus the Holy Spirit will guide you into what sufferings are of God. As you suffer according to God’s will seek out how you should obey God during the suffering.

  • Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him (Hebrews 5:8-9)

Overcoming Sin

God has set down that only by His power can anyone overcome sin. It is important to fully understand that you will feel the sting of this battle spiritually and physically.

There are no shortcuts.

It is by following the Holy Spirit into the sufferings required to deal with sin that anyone overcomes by the blood of Jesus.

  • Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. (1 Peter 4:1-2)

What does it mean to be holy?

Walking holy before God means that one allows the Holy Spirit to make them pure, separated and different in every way. From the inside out, the heart, soul and spirit to the outward use of the body all is quantitatively different and pure. Holiness is a never-ending process of purifying oneself by the grace of God. This is why Scripture calls all disciples of Jesus to perfect the holiness God is working through them.

  • “Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1)

What would Jesus do?

This is asking the wrong question.

Individuals who ask such a question do not understand the full message gospel call. The correct answer is found in this question: What degree have I died to self that God may work and act according to His will?

A disciple of Jesus does not act for God as he thinks best. A disciple of Jesus is dead to himself, his ideas of right and wrong, that he may allow the Holy Spirit to will and act according to God’s perfect will and timing.

  • (Philippians 2:13) “...for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”

I disagree.

You can certainly disagree but such is a pathetic attitude to have before the living God.

Such only demonstrates to the the unrepentant that God has no power to change individuals. Disciples of Jesus, those dying to their opinions are brought into “perfect” unity.

Unity not just in terms of opinions but how one “thinks” and what is in the “heart.” Paul knew there was power from God to become united and so wrote:

  • “I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (1 Corinthians 1:10)

FAQ: Universal Questions

Why do bad things happen to good people?

You are mistaken, there are no good people. All are, to quote God, “worthless.”

  • All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” (Romans 3:12)

All of mankind has been placed under the sentence of hell by a holy God.

Bad things are happening now because that judgment is beginning to take it’s course. Hell being the final bad thing happening to bad people place.

Only those who repent daily during this brief pause before death have the hope of heaven.

  • “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord . “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

FAQ: Church FAQ

Does the church own everything?

No, the church does not own everything.

All property, monies and wealth belong to each member alone. Having all things in common is a matter of the heart expressed in freewill giving from day to day.

Don’t want to give, don’t.

A person’s wealth belongs to them and it is up to them how it should, or should not be used in the Lord.

  • Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.” (Acts 5:4)
  • Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Is the KJV Bible the only version to use?

No, the KJV Bible is not the only version to use. Nor is a measuring tool for other modern day versions of Scriptures. The original KJV was created in 1611 and no one reads from that today. All KJV bible versions have been revised many times through-out history. Even the writers of the KJV acknowledged at the time that because language changes there would be need for further revisions and versions. The KJV Bible only doctrine springs from the self-righteous pride of man that would rather hold onto some of Jesus rather than Jesus Himself. Such individuals do not have the wisdom of God so as to understand “the times” in-which we live.

  • “Since it was customary for the king to consult experts in matters of law and justice, he spoke with the wise men who understood the times.” (Esther 1:13)

Where is the love?

The love of God is manifested in a group of cross-carrying Christians who walk in the Truth. The signs of which are:

  • “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.” (Acts 4:32)

FAQ: Sexual Sin

Is masturbation wrong?

If you are not hating your life and following Jesus everything you do, or don’t do is wrong. Wrong because it all is done, or not done for your selfish self. For the others Jesus will teach you how to control your body.

  • that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, (1 Thessalonians 4:4)

Is it wrong to divorce and remarry?

Such an answer does not fit in a short FAQ. However the short answer is, yes, maybe and no.

  • “I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.” The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.” Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.” (Matthew 19:9-12)

Which gender I am?

Your main DNA is your gender.

By rejecting God’s created gender the confusion about your sexuality is part of God’s general judgment in your life.

If you repent, sanity will be returned to you.

  • The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him. (Deuteronomy 28:20)

Is sex outside marriage a sin?

Yes sex outside of marriage (man and a woman) is a sin that God will judge.

  • In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. (Jude 1:7)

What about “transformation therapy”?

Transformation therapy is a false hope.

No therapy can create a new person that is righteous, holy and not filled with lusts.  That is a work only God can perform. There is the power of God that will create a new non-homosexual person if they surrender to The Truth daily.

  • Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

FAQ: Sit Down

Why do bad things happen to good people?

You are mistaken, there are no good people. All are, to quote God, “worthless.”

  • All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” (Romans 3:12)

All of mankind has been placed under the sentence of hell by a holy God.

Bad things are happening now because that judgment is beginning to take it’s course. Hell being the final bad thing happening to bad people place.

  • “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord . “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

How do I get peace?

You cannot “get peace” as if it were yours to own.

Peace is given by God and it is His power that will guard and protect your mind. However, God’s peace is a growing peace maintained by full obedience to God hour by  hour. The more you obey surrendering to His training discipline you will reap a harvest of peace. A harvest of peace given by the Holy Spirit. It will not be a peace you have to maintain, but a peace you surrender to.

  • (Philippians 4:7) And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
  • (Hebrews 12:11) No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Quick Recap

If the good news of being born again is preached then a person would be water baptized in the name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

If any aspect is left out or altered it is always shown to be corrected.

  • “…and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. ” (Acts 19:2-5)

This all sounds fearful?

It all sounds fearful because you have been taken in by Cultural Christianity’s whitewashing grace.

  • “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,” (Philippians 2:12)

Calling on the Lord for salvation?

Calling upon the Lord is what a disciple of Jesus does daily after they have had their sins washed away and are walking on the narrow road.

Only those who have first been baptized in water to wash away their sins can call upon the Lord as a disciple of Jesus?

  • “And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.” (Acts 22:16)

What about love?

Only love demonstrates one is a cross carrying disciple of Jesus. The word “love” has been so twisted up by secular and Cultural Christians that I can offer the reader no frame of reference to God’s love worked in a church. God’s love is not something a church does, organizes or arranges. God’s love is a power He gives only to those who are by the Holy Spirit “watching their lives and doctrine closely.” A person has to let God live His love through them to understand the power that is being discussed here. For as Jesus said just before going to the cross:

  • “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)

Why so many things to obey?

Who complains about a found gold mine? Not me:

  • “This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,” (1 John 5:3)

Aren’t you judging me?

Aw, yea, duh.

  • “But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?” (1 Corinthians 5:11-12)

Obedience required for salvation?

Of course obedience is required.

Not an obedience that earns salvation but an obedience which reflects God’s salvation of empowering grace.

Those who do not obey do not have God’s salvation as given through Jesus.

  • “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? …You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that–and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless ?” (James 2:14, 2:19-20)

What is “Cultural Christianity”?

Cultural Christianity is based upon family tradition, a style of life, a common moral belief sometimes associated with a conservative political point of view. Individuals have a Cultural Christianity belief system because they have refused the conviction of the Holy Spirit to repent of shallow lives and Bible doctrines. Cultural Christians are quick to state they are following Jesus but do realize they are mere travelers rather than cross carrying disciples. As God declares in the Bible, “Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said:…” (Luke 14:25)

A lot of folks have left?

Yes, a lot of folks come and go. Some are even sent away. One of the signs of God’s holy inspired sermons and fellowship is that dross rises to the top and is scrapped away. This is why it is important to sit down and count the cost.

  • “From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed Jesus.” (John 6:66)

Where is the joy?

The joy of Jesus is hidden until we being loosing our lives. God must first rid you of your joys because such happiness is stained with sin and cannot be mixed with holy joy.

The joy in your life must come from Jesus directly, in His timing and degree.

The only way that the joy of God can be manifested in a person’s life is by them first hating their joys, (John 12:25).

The joy is given to those carrying their cross and denying  in a way the worldly person cannot understand. As Jesus said,

  • “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” (John 14:27)

Where is the love?

The love of God is manifested in a group of cross-carrying Christians who walk in the Truth. The signs of which are:

  • “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.” (Acts 4:32)

Are tattoos wrong?

Tattoos are not just wrong, they are sin.

Anything that is done to the body, or dressed upon the body to draw attention to oneself is sin. To tattoo something of Jesus upon your body is too use God to gain attention for yourself. A very Satanic sin.

  • “…you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:20)

Does God care what we wear?

Sure God cares about what you wear.

What we wear is a reflection of what is going on in our hearts. What you wear demonstrates to everyone how sloppy or self-controlled is your heart. When Adam and Eve sinned it was first reflected in the kind of clothing they selected for that day:

  • “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.” (Genesis 3:7)

Sunday Dress & Cell Phones

Those who go to church are worshiping The God. Cells phones and all electronic devices should be turned off because church is a place for serious contemplation and worship. One should be dressed in their best for worship:

  • “A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the Lord Almighty.” (Malachi 1:6)

Do I need to “count the cost”?

No you do not have to count the cost, you can like so many believe in a false Jesus. God allows you the choice.

  • (Luke 14:28-31) For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?  Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it will begin to ridicule him,  saying, ‘This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going out to wage war against another king, will not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one who comes against him with twenty thousand?

What must I do to be saved?

  • (Acts 2:38) Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

It is the “love” of money that is the problem.

And how do you know if someone loves money or not?

Answer: if they do not both, “hate” and “despise” money they love money.

The Pharisees, the Cultural Christians have thoroughly whitewashed their love of money and sneer at this, but a person cannot be a disciple of Jesus without letting Jesus teach them to “hate” and “despise” money. Those who carry their cross following Jesus will have their eyes opened to the fact that money is “detestable in God’s sight.” As Jesus said, it is either or: “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.” The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight. (Luke 16:13-15)

I heard a lot of negative things.

Of course you have heard a lot of negative things:

  • “Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.” (Luke 6:22-23)

Can one loose their salvation?

Of course one can loose their salvation as Hebrews 6:6 makes perfectly clear.

However, it is more fearful than that.

It may not be that a person looses their salvation it may be that God cuts off a person from Jesus.

Jesus warned every disciple that God is looking for fruit. Jesus said, “He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, …” (John 15:2)

I think I have fallen away.

The only way to answer that question is to repent.

Make the effort, every effort and see if the grace of God meets you on the way back to Him.

  • “Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.” (Hebrews 4:11)

What is 1,000,000,000,000 x 0?

1,000,000,000,000 x 0 = Zero.

Go to church all you can, pray all you want, love and serve others as you choose, claim to be a spiritual church every chance you get, but 1,000,000,000,000 x 0 is still Zero.

A big fat nothing:

  • “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
