Goad #5355

We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. (2 Corinthians 10:1

Prosecutor to Prosecutor
Police to Police

Baptist to Baptist
Presbyterian to Presbyterian

etc to etc
etc to etc

Kind of the problem everyone is measuring themselves with the themselves.

Definition of Goads

Following Jesus is not a soundbite religion.
Never confuse a soundbite with God’s goads.
Expect to be pricked, offended and made uncomfortable.
God’s Goads are designed to spur us onto action and deeper reflection.
It is up to you what you do or do not do.

God’s Goads are meant to drive one closer or further away from the only loving God.

The words of the wise are like goads,
their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails
-given by one Shepherd.
(Ecclesiastes 12:11)
